Privacy policy
What we hold about you, why we hold it, and how to make us delete it. Last updated: August 2026.
What we collect
Only what an order needs. When you use the contact form, ask for a quotation or register a company, we keep the name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the text of your enquiry. Visiting the site also leaves ordinary technical traces — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed. We do not ask for identity documents and we do not take card details on this site.
Cookies
Small files that let the site remember your language, keep a cart from emptying itself, and count visits in aggregate. Your browser settings can refuse them; refusing the essential ones will break the cart and the language switch. We run no advertising cookies of our own.
Who else sees your details
Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics receive anonymised usage figures so we can see which module pages are actually read. Your delivery name, address and phone go to the freight company handling your pallets, because a driver cannot deliver without them. Where you have asked for an installer referral, we pass your contact details to the partner nearest you — and only then. We do not sell personal data to anybody.
How it is kept
Traffic between your browser and this site is encrypted with TLS. Enquiry records sit behind access controls and are reachable only by the people who need them to answer you. We hold what we need for as long as the purpose lasts, and no longer.
Your rights over it
Wherever you live, you may ask us to: show you what we hold; correct anything wrong; delete it; stop sending you anything promotional; hand it over in a portable file; or complain about our handling of it to your national data protection regulator. One email to sales@jinko-solar.ae starts any of those.
How long we keep it
Orders and the invoices attached to them: 7 years, which UAE commercial law requires. Enquiries that never became an order: 2 years. Anonymised website analytics: 26 months. Partner registrations: for as long as the company stays on the referral list, plus one year.
If you are in Europe (GDPR)
Buyers in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and the wider EEA have the full set of GDPR rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — and the right to complain to a national supervisory authority. Write to sales@jinko-solar.ae and we answer inside one calendar month.
UAE data protection (PDPL)
We handle personal data under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection: collected for a stated purpose, kept with your consent, and transferred across borders only where the receiving side gives it comparable protection — which for us means freight partners and nothing more.
Cookie categories
Essential cookies keep the cart and the language switch working. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) report anonymous usage. Preference cookies remember whether you read the site in English, Arabic or French. There is no advertising or profiling category here. All of them can be managed from your browser.
Privacy contact
Questions or a deletion request: sales@jinko-solar.ae, or the WhatsApp number on our contact page. We reply within 30 days, and inside one calendar month for GDPR requests.
